Program Manager, Data Center Construction (Site Lead)

Compensation:
$159,000-$231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
- Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions that meet the needs of our data center operations teams.
- Work effectively within an organization, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate construction issues, developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission critical facilities.
- 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- 5 years of experience managing vendor relationships.
- 5 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems.
- Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, and scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
- Knowledge of design and construction industry standards, including design-build processes, associated agreements, and facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
