Program Manager, Data Center Construction

This role is based in Ohio, USA with remote eligibility.
Compensation:
$147,000-$216,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
- Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions for data center operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Analyze and evaluate complex construction issues, developing creative solutions to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience with dynamic technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data center or mission critical facilities.
- 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.
- Ability to be onsite 5 days a week.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience with data center equipment/environments.
- 5 years of experience managing vendor relationships and standard practices in the design and construction industry.
- Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives within set goals.
- Knowledge of facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of startup/commissioning processes.
