Program Manager, Data Center Construction

This role is based in Nevada, USA with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$147,000-$216,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple data center projects from inception to completion, overseeing all phases, including concept development, design, construction, and deployment.
• Gather and analyze internal requirements, translating them into effective solutions that meet the needs of our data center operations teams.
• Work effectively within a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze and evaluate construction issues, developing creative solutions that minimize impact on project timelines and cost.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.
• Ability to travel and be onsite 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• 5 years of experience in managing vendor relationships.
• 5 years of experience working with electrical or mechanical systems.
• Understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design-build processes.
