ML Engineering Manager, Road and Lane Attribute Automation

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and operational execution of the Road and Lane Attribute Automation team.
- Drive the incubation and productionization of computer vision and AI research at scale.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Manage a team of engineers and work on deliverables across various Geo teams.
- Focus on continuous learning and enhancing Google Maps products.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years in a people management role.
- Experience in machine learning and AI.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years in a cross-functional organization.
- Experience programming in Python.
- Experience in Generative AI and computer vision.
