Hardware Power Test Engineer, Platforms

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Support prototype bring-up, validation, qualification, and failure analysis of server-related technologies.
• Liaison between Hardware Engineering teams and lab teams to ensure readiness for new products.
• Define and document electrical characterization and validation of power distribution networks.
• Develop test procedures and analyze data for engineering decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in a power electronics environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
• Experience with power measurement equipment and scripting languages like Python.
• Knowledge of power testing methodologies and hardware validation.
