About the job

As a Growth Marketing Manager for Payments, you will design and execute strategies to acquire new consumers and drive ongoing engagement for Google Wallet and Google Pay globally. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and lead data-driven marketing strategies across multiple channels, including paid media, web, app store, email, and in-product messaging. This role requires a unique blend of investigative acumen, operational excellence, and an understanding of the consumer payments and eWallet ecosystem.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in digital consumer growth marketing, with a focus on online channels (e.g., web, paid media).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience leveraging data or analytics to inform marketing plans, measure campaign performance, or generate user insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing external partners, including creative agencies for campaign asset design and technical agencies for website builds.
  • Experience in consumer mobile apps growth marketing, covering acquisition, engagement, and strategies.
  • Understanding of the website development lifecycle, including strategy, UX design, execution, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with mobile app-specific growth channels, including Google App Campaigns, and App Store Optimization (ASO).
  • Strong familiarity with the payments space, including eWallets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute end-to-end growth marketing strategies across acquisition and engagement channels (including paid media, email, app store, and in-product messaging) to accelerate the growth of Google Wallet and Google Pay.
  • Manage all facets of marketing campaigns from concept, strategy, and creative production to launch coordination, optimization, and reporting—leveraging AI technologies to maximize efficiency and performance.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize key metrics, including click-through rate (CTR), conversion rates (CVR), and cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Analyze campaign performance data and user behavior to extract actionable insights, uncover net-new growth levers, and streamline the user conversion funnel.
  • Partner closely with growth experts across Payments Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Regional Marketing teams to accelerate user growth and enhance the core product experience.
