Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Shape the team’s direction and mentor members while addressing technical challenges.
  • Build scalable and user-friendly experiments infrastructure.
  • Measure impact using data and metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering management and product teams to clarify priorities and roadmaps.
  • Align platform evolution with broader architectural efforts.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience coding in Java and distributed systems.
  • Mentorship and leadership experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with Google Infrastructure and coding in Kotlin.
  • Experience with Search Infrastructure.
