This role is based in San Jose, CA.
Compensation:
$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers focusing on Woodshed's multi-modal strategy.
- Oversee Canon, a machine learning dataset lakehouse.
- Partner with GenMedia to power training for multimodal models.
- Lead plans for the team alongside Woodshed's technical leadership.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with C++, large-scale distributed systems, and technical infrastructure.
- Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, and AI solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience with distributed compute environments and cloud computing.
