Engineering Manager, Switch Stack Software

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop mid-term technical goals and roadmap for your teams.
  • Deliver software features on switch stack software deployed in Google data centers.
  • Review code developed by engineers and provide feedback.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years in a people management role.
  • Experience with network architecture and infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of Linux development and multi-threading.
  • Experience with networking protocols and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
