This position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, where you will lead engineers in building core logs data processing infrastructure for Google.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish clear expectations and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Develop technical goals and roadmaps for multiple teams.
  • Design and review systems and code to solve complex problems.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development in C++.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in large-scale data processing or distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
