This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Build, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
  • Drive technical strategy for ranking improvements.
  • Oversee development of ranking enhancements.
  • Guide the team in using various technologies to solve problems at scale.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Experience coding in C++ or Python.
  • Experience with data analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience managing software engineering teams.
  • Experience in Search Quality and ranking systems.
  • Experience with applied machine learning.
