This role is based in Mountain View, CA.
Compensation:
$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Build, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
- Drive technical strategy for ranking improvements.
- Oversee development of ranking enhancements.
- Guide the team in using various technologies to solve problems at scale.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 2 years of experience in a management role.
- Experience coding in C++ or Python.
- Experience with data analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience managing software engineering teams.
- Experience in Search Quality and ranking systems.
- Experience with applied machine learning.
