Engineering Manager, Google Cloud Platform Identity Security

This role is based in Kirkland, WA, USA.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Understand strategic and technical aspects of securing cloud identities.
• Set strategic and technical direction for the team’s projects.
• Influence and shape the team's culture and process.
• Communicate/negotiate to build consensus and influence leadership and partners.
• Collaborate across multiple Google Cloud Platform teams to drive alignment.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, or Go.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
