This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Software Engineers working on Editors CSE, ensuring they execute well on their priorities and grow professionally.
  • Define the team's projects, timeline, and roadmap in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Evaluate project priorities to improve team impact and developer productivity.
  • Build relationships with partner teams to achieve shared goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience with full stack development (Java, Python, Golang, or C++ for back-end; JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS for front-end).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in creating technical design documents and leading project implementation.
  • Strong communication skills.
