Director, Supply Chain and Operations, Google Distributed Cloud

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA or Seattle, WA.

Compensation:

$253,000-$356,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Drive NPI programs for new GDC infrastructure hardware products like compute, network, storage, security.
• Lead capacity planning and demand forecasting of GDC products across all customers globally by partnering with Go-To-Market, Product Management, and Sales.
• Drive procurement and delivery of customer forecasts to all customers globally. Manage operations of forecast to delivery as well as Day 2 operations.
• Lead sourcing of GDC product components and manage partnerships with hardware vendors, system integrators, and global logistics firms, ensuring continuity of supply.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 15 years of experience working within supply chain or procurement
• Experience with supply chain, business operations, procurement, and hardware products

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree
• 20 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement
• Experience working with and leading teams and stakeholders, and executing strategies to deliver exceptional solutions
• Experience influencing senior executives, negotiations, and partner management
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems, showing a track record of making business decisions using relevant data and insights
• Excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
