Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the developer community through meetups, conferences, videos, and online forums to inspire developers and drive adoption of the Google Maps Platform.
  • Create and launch technical content, including open-source sample applications, tutorials, and best practices.
  • Support global product launches by developing the technical Bill of Materials (BOM) and providing early technical feedback on APIs/SDKs.
  • Advocate for the needs of the developer community by gathering feedback and working closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Develop expertise in the Google Maps Platform APIs and related Google Cloud technologies.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in professional software development.
  • Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, Python, or Java.
  • Experience engaging with technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Maps Platform APIs or geospatial technologies.
  • Experience in Mobile application development.
  • Ability to synthesize developer feedback and advocate for product improvements.
