Developer Relations Engineer, Android TV

This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities:

• Work with developers and internal stakeholders to improve tooling, libraries, and guidance for Android app development.
• Identify bottlenecks in the use of Jetpack libraries and advocate for solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence API design and product roadmap.
• Create developer resources such as blog posts, sample code, and guidance on using Jetpack libraries.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in Android development.
• Experience with Kotlin language.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in building Android apps.
• Experience in contributing to an open source project.
• Experience in User Interface (UI) development and design.
• Knowledge of the Android development community.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
