This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Responsibilities:
- Work with developers and internal stakeholders to improve tooling, libraries, and guidance for Android app development.
- Identify bottlenecks in the use of Jetpack libraries and advocate for solutions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence API design and product roadmap.
- Create developer resources such as blog posts, sample code, and guidance on using Jetpack libraries.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in Android development.
- Experience with Kotlin language.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in building Android apps.
- Experience in contributing to an open source project.
- Experience in User Interface (UI) development and design.
- Knowledge of the Android development community.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
