This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, where you will lead data modeling and forecasting efforts for AI/ML software.
Compensation:
$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze and interpret data related to AI/ML software usage, resource consumption, and carbon emissions.
- Develop methodologies to estimate carbon emissions and identify opportunities for reductions.
- Work with the Advanced Energy Labs and Climate Operations teams to ensure Google achieves Net Zero emissions by 2030.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in analytics, coding (Python, R, SQL), or a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in analytics and model design, particularly in energy or climate domains.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
