About the job:
Our team is responsible for real-time bidding on behalf of Google Ads advertisers. You will solve critical problems for the future of the display ads business, involving data analysis, algorithms design, and data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business questions and translate them into analysis.
- Design and evaluate models to solve defined problems.
- Own and contribute to bidding models for real-time auctions.
- Analyze auction abuse patterns and design countermeasures.
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in analytics, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), or a PhD.
- 1 year of experience managing investigative projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in analytics or a PhD.
