This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$106,000-$151,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines for third-party data sets.
  • Ensure data quality and reliability for Google Maps services.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers on big data challenges.
  • Analyze database environments for optimal design on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Travel up to 30% for meetings and technical reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1 year of experience with geographical data sets and data engineering.
  • Experience with Java, C++, Python, Go, or JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform tools like BigQuery.
