Customer Solutions Engineer, High Touch, Database, Storage, Google Cloud (English, Mandarin)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers on their production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale.
• Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
• Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs.
• Experience writing, reading, and debugging code in languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with public cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed computing technology.
