Compensation:

$138,000-$198,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a Business Data Scientist, you will analyze data to identify risks and provide insights for risk management across Alphabet. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to senior executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify and quantify risks.
  • Analyze data for patterns of abuse, fraud, and compliance issues.
  • Develop infrastructure to support analyses and automate audit procedures.
  • Influence teams towards data-informed decision-making.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in analytics, coding (Python, R, SQL), or relevant PhD.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in analytics or relevant PhD.
  • Experience with generative AI for data analysis.
