Business Data Scientist, AI/ML, Google Cloud

Location: Waterloo, ON, Canada

Compensation:

CAD 144,000-148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Develop predictive, personalized, and proactive customer support solutions.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Implement evaluation frameworks for LLMs and AI agents.
• Monitor and maintain deployed solutions, tracking performance indicators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in data science with a focus on ML and NLP.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience with LLMs and intelligent autonomous agents.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
