This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software solutions on Android in Kotlin and Java.
  • Work with REST APIs and Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs).
  • Run A/B tests and analyze metrics.
  • Collaborate with other Google and Fi product teams to scope and launch new services and features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug user and partner issues.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with Android application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience with wireless networking.
  • Experience in backend servers with standard Google backend infrastructure.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and exploring new domains.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
