Staff Mobile Engineer - Mobile Platform (Remote across ANZ)

Responsibilities:

• Leading mobile engineers in building effective, efficient components that strengthen Canva’s mobile platform support.
• Developing a holistic understanding of existing mobile infrastructure and delivering initiatives to improve the mobile development experience.
• Driving cross-platform alignment and establishing collaboration with frontend teams.
• Defining best practices and methodologies for mobile engineering excellence.
• Championing knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of learning.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in mobile engineering with a strong track record on iOS and/or Android.
• Expertise in multiple tech stacks including Swift, Kotlin, React Native, and Flutter.
• Strategic mindset and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience in platform stewardship is a plus.
