Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Enablement (Python/Golang)

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain platforms for managing Canva's cloud foundations.
• Automate compliance to ensure platform security.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement robust features.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Share on-call responsibilities to maintain service health.
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.

You're probably a match if:

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Go.
• Curious and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Think in systems regarding scale, reliability, and security.
• Excited about AI and its applications in infrastructure.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
