About the Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, scale, and mature systems that support AI training workloads across Canva.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the evolution of Canva’s unified training platform for AI workloads.
• Improve reliability and operational support for training systems.
• Collaborate with research scientists, ML engineers, and product teams.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices in AI systems.

Requirements:

• Experience with training pipelines, distributed systems, or large-scale AI infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Familiarity with cloud services for high-performance AI workloads.
