About the Role:
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will develop models for Canva’s payments orchestration layer, working cross-functionally with payments engineering, data, fraud, and product teams.
Responsibilities:
Build and ship ML systems end-to-end, work with large-scale transactional data, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in building ML systems
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
Domain Experience (nice to have):
- Payments, fraud/risk, or financial systems
- Familiarity with compliance constraints
