About the Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll lead the ML lifecycle from problem framing to production deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build intelligent features for Brand Templates.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop ranking and recommendation models for design conversion.
  • Build brandification pipelines to align templates with organizational guidelines.
  • Design systems for layout extraction from Canva's design format.
  • Run experiments to validate model effectiveness.
  • Establish ML best practices within the team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in ML feature development.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Experience with NLP/NLU techniques and document understanding.
  • Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience.
