Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Brand Templates (AU remote)

About the Role:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to build intelligent features.

Responsibilities:

• Develop ranking and recommendation models for Brand Templates.
• Build brandification pipelines to conform templates to brand guidelines.
• Design layout extraction systems from Canva's design format.
• Run experiments to validate model effectiveness.
• Collaborate on defining data contracts and APIs for ML features.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in ML production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with NLP/NLU techniques and document understanding.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience and measurable outcomes.
