Senior Machine Learning Engineer - AI Platform Enablement

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with hybrid work options available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical support to researchers, debugging training jobs, optimizing inference pipelines, and unblocking critical workflows.
• Develop tools and patterns that help researchers self-serve common needs, reducing repetitive support burden.
• Partner with platform capability teams to identify gaps in current offerings and advocate for researcher needs.
• Create documentation and examples that accelerate researcher onboarding and reduce time-to-productivity.
• Lead technical deep-dives on performance optimization, cost reduction, and workflow efficiency for research teams.

Requirements:

• Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks.
• Experience working closely with or supporting research/data science teams.
• Problem-solving skills with strong debugging capabilities across the ML stack.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences.
• Customer-focused with the patience to support a variety of users.
• Enjoy being a force multiplier—accelerating research by removing friction.
