What you'll do:

  • Own high-quality, frame-accurate video and audio playback on Canva’s web platform.
  • Design and evolve the core architecture for scalable web playback.
  • Build performance-critical systems and drive resilient rendering experiences across browsers.
  • Partner with product and platform teams to enhance playback capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in JavaScript at a systems level.
  • Experience with video, audio, or graphics systems in the browser.
  • Understanding of rendering pipelines and modern multimedia APIs.
