What you'll do:
- Own high-quality, frame-accurate video and audio playback on Canva’s web platform
- Design and evolve the core architecture for scalable web playback
- Build performance-critical systems and drive resilient rendering experiences
- Lead the adoption of next-generation playback technologies
- Improve playback quality and reliability for millions of users
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in JavaScript at a systems level
- Experience with video, audio, or game-like systems in the browser
- Understanding of rendering pipelines and animation systems
- Familiarity with WebGL, WebAssembly, and modern multimedia APIs
