What you'll do:

  • Own high-quality, frame-accurate video and audio playback on Canva’s web platform
  • Design and evolve core architecture for scalable web playback
  • Drive resilient rendering and playback experiences across browsers and devices
  • Partner with product, editor, and platform teams
  • Improve playback quality and reliability

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in JavaScript
  • Experience with video, audio, or graphics systems in the browser
  • Understanding of rendering pipelines and animation systems
  • Familiarity with WebGL, WebAssembly, and modern multimedia APIs
