Senior Engineering Manager - Security Platform Engineering

Responsibilities:
- Manage two small teams of software engineers who design and implement software to reduce risk.
- Own the strategy and roadmap for both teams, balancing security and developer experience.
- Coach and develop engineers by providing regular feedback.
- Own the team’s development methodology including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Drive adoption of security systems across Canva engineering teams.
Required Experience:
- Experience in managing high-performing teams.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with languages such as Golang, Java, or Rust.
- Experience in building and operating cloud-based services.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a security domain.
- Understanding of the security products industry.
- Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform or Kubernetes.
