Senior Engineering Manager (BE) - Developer Workflows

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on leading three Developer Workflows teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leading Developer Workflows teams and coaching Team Engineering Leads.
• Defining and driving strategy for frontend, backend, and platform engineering experiences.
• Collaborating with Product Managers and engineering leaders to enhance software development processes.
• Translating developer pain points into improvements across CI/CD, IDE tooling, and testing frameworks.
• Championing developer satisfaction and driving initiatives for faster engineering workflows.

Requirements:

• Experience leading engineering teams in developer experience or platform engineering.
• Empathy for engineers and a passion for creating effective workflows.
• Ability to use metrics and feedback for decision-making.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and developer platforms is highly regarded.
