Senior Data Scientist - Product, Features & Growth - Open to Remote across ANZ

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia with hybrid work options available.

What you'll do:

• Partner with teams across Canva to influence strategic decisions through data.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments that drive product and business outcomes.
• Build data models, dashboards, and tooling that help teams scale insights.
• Define and forecast key metrics to track progress and surface opportunities.
• Communicate findings clearly to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.
• Uplift the broader data community through mentorship, best practices, and collaboration.

You're probably a match if:

• You have a proven track record of using data to drive impact across products or business units.
• You write complex SQL with ease and can work with large-scale datasets.
• You think strategically and love solving ambiguous problems.
• You’re an excellent communicator and storyteller.
• You have experience with experimentation, event instrumentation, and data warehousing.
• You’ve worked with tools like Python or R and have a strong foundation in statistics or a STEM field.
