Senior Data Scientist, LATAM

This role is based in Austin, TX, and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Build the Data Foundation for LATAM, creating dashboards for key metrics.
• Define and track success metrics tailored to local market nuances.
• Act as a bridge between LATAM teams and global functions.
• Craft actionable narratives from data insights.
• Proactively identify growth bottlenecks and user behavior shifts.
• Support product initiatives and A/B testing in LATAM markets.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL and data wrangling skills.
• Familiarity with Canva’s data stack (Looker, Snowflake, Mode, Netspring).
• Experience building dashboards and tracking frameworks.
• Ability to define and track key metrics across user journeys.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Experience working with LATAM markets is preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
