Principal Front-End Engineer - Web Platform

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.
What you'll do:
- Own the technical direction for the web platform, including server-side rendering and React Server Components.
- Drive performance improvements aiming for sub-two-second first page load times.
- Influence frontend engineering practices across the organization.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in coding and architectural decisions.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of React and its internals.
- Experience with performance measurement and optimization at scale.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction in a collaborative environment.
- Active individual contributor with a strong coding background.
Technical knowledge:
- Fluency in TypeScript and experience with SSR and RSC.
- Knowledge of frontend-backend communication and performance measurement strategies.
