This role is based in Beijing, China.
Responsibilities:
- Work with local AI models and services to support Canva's product needs in China.
- Assist in fine-tuning and prompt engineering of models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and model-serving components.
- Collaborate with global and local teams across ML, product, infra, legal, and compliance.
- Run offline evaluations and support online experimentation.
What we're looking for:
- 1–3 years of ML or software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with production ML areas such as LLMs, search, recommendation, or generative AI.
- Solid coding skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Tech stack:
Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
