About the Role:

You'll build foundational safety infrastructure for Canva's AI features, enabling product teams to safely launch AI-generated content. Your work will focus on developing ML-based moderation systems and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of ML-based safety features.
  • Build and maintain ML models for content moderation across various modalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver compliant solutions.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in delivering ML-powered features in production.
  • Strong Python coding skills; Java/Kotlin experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern ML architectures, including LLMs and RAG.
