This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Set and drive design vision and strategy across the Growth Supergroup.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of design leaders and senior designers.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Champion an AI-first, prototype-driven approach to problem solving.
  • Establish quality standards and design processes that scale.
  • Identify opportunities for experimentation and innovation.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across Canva.

Requirements:

  • Clear design vision connected to business and growth strategy.
  • Experience in product-led growth, especially in b2c SaaS products.
  • Fluency with AI tools in design practice.
  • Ability to set vision and guide execution.
  • Experience developing design leaders.
  • Data-literate, using experimentation and insights for decision-making.
