About the role:
As the Consumer Communications Lead for North America, you’ll be responsible for scaling Canva’s brand across one of our most important markets.
Responsibilities:
- Driving proactive consumer storytelling through communications strategies and campaigns.
- Building Canva’s consumer profile in market via strategic media relations.
- Leading cultural and trend-driven moments in partnership with the Marketing team.
- Developing strong media relationships across various platforms.
- Creating news and data-led storytelling opportunities.
- Leading local press events and brand activations.
- Driving regional internal communications.
- Supporting global communications initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of experience at high-growth consumer brands.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape.
- Proven ability to secure positive press coverage.
- Strong media relationships across various outlets.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders for media opportunities.
