German Language Manager (12-month Contract)

This role is based in Berlin, Germany, working full-time on-site.

About the role:

As a Language Manager, you will oversee the localization process, ensuring that Canva's voice is effectively communicated in German.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Country Localisation Lead to create Canva’s voice in German.
• Translate key content and manage localization partners.
• Develop and update a style guide and glossary.
• Provide cultural insights and guidance.
• Identify opportunities for localization improvements.

Requirements:

• Strong writing skills and passion for languages and cultures.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias towards action.
• Experience with CAT tools and familiarity with marketing tech stack.
