This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and is focused on hiring, mentoring, and supporting a specialized team of engineers.
Compensation:
$175,000 to $270,000
Responsibilities:
- Hiring and mentoring a specialized team of performance and systems engineers.
- Shaping the long-term performance roadmap for the Video Group.
- Partnering with various teams to ensure performance is prioritized in product development.
- Driving delivery of performance-related improvements.
- Defining and tracking key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
- Strong systems thinking across frontend, backend, and native engines.
- Ability to translate performance ambitions into actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Comfort with using telemetry and A/B testing.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cross-platform engines and performance considerations in AI/ML.
- Knowledge of mobile performance ecosystems.
