Compensation:

$175,000 to $270,000

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, mentoring, and supporting a specialized team of performance and systems engineers.
  • Shaping the long-term performance roadmap for the Video Group.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated into product development.
  • Driving delivery of performance-related improvements and internal tooling.
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators aligned with company goals.
  • Contributing to technical design reviews for scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong systems thinking across frontend, backend, and native engines.
  • Ability to translate performance ambitions into actionable engineering roadmaps.
  • Comfortable using telemetry and A/B testing for evaluating technical improvements.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cross-platform engines (C++, WebAssembly).
  • Familiarity with performance considerations in Generative AI and ML.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile performance ecosystems.
