Responsibilities:
- Managing two small teams of software engineers who design and implement software to reduce risk.
- Owning the strategy and roadmap for both teams.
- Coaching and developing engineers by providing regular feedback.
- Driving adoption of security systems across Canva engineering teams.
Required Experience:
- Experience in managing a high-performing team.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with languages such as Golang, Java, or Rust.
- Experience in building and operating cloud-based services.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in a security domain.
- Understanding of security products and risk.
- Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
