Engineering Manager - (JavaScript/Java) - Organising Content

This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

What you'll do:

• Lead motivated engineers who build, run, and analyze features across the Canva product.
• Coach engineers by providing regular, practical feedback.
• Set clear goals for the team and ensure a healthy collaborative environment.
• Own the team’s development methodology and rituals.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Write and review design documents and be responsible for project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Build new experiences for asset storage in Canva.
• Evolve existing experiences across various media types.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends to innovate.
