Engineering Manager (infra) - Observability (ANZ Remote)

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia with remote work options available.

What you’d be doing in this role:

• Owning and leading a high-performing engineering team, focusing on career development and impact.
• Partnering with Engineering Managers to define and execute observability strategies.
• Translating high-level goals into clear roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Ensuring reliability and performance of observability platforms.
• Driving modernization of the observability stack.

You’re probably a match if:

• You’ve held a technical leadership role with people management experience.
• You’ve built or supported large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS ideally).
• You care about reliability, scalability, and developer experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience with OpenTelemetry and observability tools like Grafana.
• Experience coding in Go.
