Engineering Manager (FE) - Video Storyline (Remote ANZ)

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

• Lead and grow a high-performing frontend team focused on AI-powered video editing.
• Deliver intuitive new editing surfaces that simplify complex creative tasks.
• Build expressive tools for sequencing, timing, and audio/visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to explore new interaction patterns.
• Define and own the frontend technical roadmap.
• Champion frontend excellence — performance, responsiveness, and usability.

Requirements:

• Strong frontend background (TypeScript preferred) and experience building interactive tools.
• Experience in creative tools, ideally in video, gaming, or similar media.
• Understanding of mobile and large-screen experiences.
• Product-minded with a passion for user-friendly design.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, R&D-style environment.
