Engineering Manager (FE) - Video Storyline (Remote ANZ)

This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

• Lead and grow a frontend team focused on AI-powered video editing.
• Deliver intuitive editing surfaces that simplify complex creative tasks.
• Build tools for sequencing, timing, and audio/visual storytelling.
• Define and own the frontend technical roadmap.
• Champion frontend excellence in performance and usability.

You’re probably a match if:

• You have a strong frontend background, particularly in TypeScript.
• Experience in creative tools, ideally in video or interactive media.
• Understanding of mobile and large-screen experience demands.
• Product-minded with a passion for helping non-technical users create.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers.

Qualifications:

A degree is not mandatory but a strong command of computer science fundamentals is required.
